  1. Hi, that sort of helped me. Just try to customize it fitting to the UK nursing practice. Then you'll be good to go. Good luck. :-)
  2. I was like halfway through it but never really did finished all of it. I find Saunders really helpful especially when I really need to brush on my hardcore nursing concepts, plus take a lot of sample exam when you get the chance. In addition, you may also want to try the practice exam in your Pearsonvue profiles because that sort of going to give you the feel of what the exam screen looks like. Good luck everyone!
  3. Hi everyone sorry for a delayed response. If you have already taken the NCLEX RN exam, then the CBT is an easier version of that. Yes there were pharma questions but wasn't a lot. One thing you have to practice is how to compute without a calculator.
  4. Guys, I would like to apologize for blowing your bubbles but the passing rate for OSCE is quite unbelievable. According to health force Ontario, its only 1%. Then after the exam, if you want to take further courses to close the gaps identified, you will have to wait on the queue of more than a thousand applicants waiting to get a slot from York University. Then your safe nursing practice will expire, if that happens, you will be required to get additional courses to take on the top of the courses you need to fill in for your education. That's the reality IN the CNO process. Hopelessly brutal!
  5. Hi to all UK RN aspirant, as a one myself, I would like to invite my fellow filipinos who reside in Manila to maybe be my study buddy for the OSCE (Test of Competence part 2) Exam in the UK. This exam is scenario based and maybe we can benefit in doing a lot of practice and sharing of ideas. I do have a couple of resources such as OSCE books and online resources that I can gladly lend. If you are interested please do reach out to me at [email protected]
  6. I share the same sentiment. Its pretty frustrating to seek licensure in Ontario. Not only that they are very slow but they are non accommodating too. I hope that they would realize that something is not right with their process and maybe they should try to improve it.

  8. Focus group research study on IEN in Ontario : Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing / Association canadienne des écoles de sciences infirmières (CASN / ACESI) Anyone eligible for this study? This might be something that would give the regulators a better view of the problems encountered by IEN in the registration process.
