Hi,
I am a student mental health nurse, here in the UK.
My husband has the opportunity in the future to work in Canada. I'm hoping to get some advice about working as a nurse in Canada, with UK qualifications.
Many thanks

Nurses in Canada are generalist trained, meaning they have completed both theory and clinical hours in adult, peds, OB/GYN and mental health nursing. There is a Registered Psychiatric Nurse designation in British Columbia I believe.

since this month the starting point would be NNAS but only a handful of western provinces accept RMN and you would have to meet requirements and pass the psychiatric nursing exam exam before being allowed to work as a nurse in Canada

Every province west of Manitoba has Registered Psychiatric Nurses.
All depends on where the OPs husband plans on working as to her career prospects/
