as long as it’s labeled for professional rescuers or health care providers. Idk if they offer that with first aid. well actually... they might

Hey guys! Are y’all doing first aid online? I didn’t see any that was in person that didn’t include adult first aid. None of the ones I found had Healthcare providers with first aid

I did both my BLS and first aid in person through two different centers (to get the lowest price). I got my certifications from american heart association. I know AHA offers BLS w/first aid (depending on the training center you choose). I’m not too sure about red cross

Does anyone know what The deadline is for BLS and first aid? I will not be able to go until the 25th of September

Hey all! I'm enrolled in the September 19th Blended CPR/First Aid class. If anyone wants to join me, it's $75.00 and it'll be at St. Thomas Episcopal Church!

Is it through American Heart Association or the Red Cross?

Red Cross! Here's the one I signed up for ?

I won’t be able to make it to that one (it’s my anniversary). Also, I was thinking of doing mine through American Heart Association because I think that’s the one UTHSCSA requires. I’m not sure if I’ll be accepted/attend there but I’d rather be good to go for both schools. ...I think that’s the best price I’ve seen for the cpr and first aid.

I need it for my job, so I figured I'd just do this one for now. If I need to do the AHA one, I'll do it later ?

Happy anniversary!

I really don’t think that’s the correct course. we need the one for health care professionals. unless you already spoke to eunice or a faculty member in the school of nursing and they confirmed it was correct. because if that’s the case then ignore me lol. it would suck for any of you to take that course only to realize it’s the wrong one and pay more money for the right one ?

I got my titer back and I have to take my last shot the first month of school. I didn’t have he immunity for Hep B. I talked to them and said it was fine! They said as long as I started it already! I take my second one the 16th ??‍♀️

Hey! So when and who did you ask when you mentioned that you weren't going to be done with the hep b vaccine? If my titer is negative I was told that I need to get booster and test again. Eunice told me it is okay, but I'm a little worried about it ?.

Yes. My dr. Said it shouldn't be, but in case it is I may need a couple of more vaccines.
