Okay so i am applying to the BSN program at UIC 2015. I am so worried because i have no idea what to expect. It is one of the top nursing schools in the country. I am literally freaking out because i am competing for one of the 90 spots. My Cum GPA is 3.89 and science GPA is 4.0 and I graduated out of high school a year early (at the age 16). i am currently 18 years old. I finished most of my pre-reqs at a community college because its cheaper, I also finished my essay questions but i am worried that its not good enough. I volunteer at my local hospital for over a few months and i know that nursing is what I want to do.
Can someone please tell me if I have a good chance of getting in? Getting into UIC is my dream goal. Is my GPA good? Is there anything that i can do to improve my chances of getting in?

Even if we get denied will we receive something? And will our application status change?
I'm just little surprised that I applied to Chicago campus and also did interview in Chicago but got accepted at the Urbana campus..
Has anyone heard of this case?
Not me...in fact, when I filled out the application I could only check a single box (either Chicago campus or Urbana). Of course, I chose Chicago 'cause I live in the city.
Could you let us know what is the sender's name in the email from UIC, please? I asked because the email for interview came from one of the nursing advisors.

the sender's name is Clare K. Delaney. Actually, I could put my first and second choice of campus (I put Chicago 1st/Urbana 2nd). And thanks:)
I am new to this forum but obviously I'm not the only one feeling the pressure of the waiting game... I didn't get an email either, in my inbox or spam. My application status still says "Referred to college for review"... This is killing me!
