UIC nursing school

Published

Okay so i am applying to the BSN program at UIC 2015. I am so worried because i have no idea what to expect. It is one of the top nursing schools in the country. I am literally freaking out because i am competing for one of the 90 spots. My Cum GPA is 3.89 and science GPA is 4.0 and I graduated out of high school a year early (at the age 16). i am currently 18 years old. I finished most of my pre-reqs at a community college because its cheaper, I also finished my essay questions but i am worried that its not good enough. I volunteer at my local hospital for over a few months and i know that nursing is what I want to do.

Can someone please tell me if I have a good chance of getting in? Getting into UIC is my dream goal. Is my GPA good? Is there anything that i can do to improve my chances of getting in?

I am applying sometime next week.

They said all of them have been sent out and we should receive it shortly, and our portal information should be changed by the end of the day if for some reason you don't receive an email. But you should today, they've sent them out

This is making me nervous

I have been checking it, still nothing for me

Thank you for letting us know !

Thank you for calling!

Hello everyone!!! this is my first time commenting on this forum but i have been reading all your comments since our applications were due. I am so NERVOUSS!! im pretty sure we all are! I just want to know if I got in or not. I have been checking all morning and nothing yet

Nothing here...

We all want to know if we're in or not!

It's just an email...electronically sent, so you would think you'd get it right away, but nooooo, we're still waiting

If we don't get it today and have to wait the weekend I am going to be a little aggravated

I looked up "UIC Nursing School" on Twitter and some girl tweeted that her friend was accepted into UIC's nursing program about an hour ago. But I still do not understand how none of us haven't heard anything.

They're trickling through, that's just the reality. I think we should all hear by the end of the day
