UIC BSN Fall 2020 interviews

Hello, everyone! I applied to the BSN program at UIC for Fall 2020 and I’m super anxious about the entire process. I received an email inviting me for a mock interview that’s conducted through the Urban Health Program and was wondering if anyone else received this email

To those who had their interview yesterday and today, how was it? I have mine for tomorrow in Chicago and I'm so nervous.

Just received an email from a person who works in the nursing admissions team. They are trying (and are on-track) to send out the admission decisions by the end of March. UIC closing due to the coronavirus will not postpone or prolong the process (surprising).

Update: start looking for admission decisions in a week. They all will be sent out in a week. Guaranteed by the end of March, but start looking out for it next week

This might seem like a dumb question but does anyone know if they’ll be emailing us or mailing? Also, has anyone gotten any more news on when they are going to start sending their decision out?

Zoe, they will send their decisions out this week. If not, then 100% they will send it out next week according to one of their admission members. They will be EMAILING us.

Actually, I don't anticipate they'll send this week. It will be next week most likely. 100% before April 1

Thank goodness they’re emailing. I hope they send it out soon. I’m going a little bonkers checking my email every few minutes.

Zoe, do me a favor. I emailed and called twice and received the same answer. I did this a week ago. Can you call the UIC College of Nursing at 312) 996-7800, press 1, and ask them when will they send out admission decisions for the BSN program and will it be through email or mail. If they tell you the same thing, let me know. This will confirm whether what they are telling is real and consistent. People from the past have said they're always late about things. Hell, they might surprise you and announce they're sending decisions tomorrow.

I actually tried calling this morning but got put on hold for about an hour. I can try again now but admissions will close in about ten minutes.
