Same here, waiting on UTMB and UT Tyler for Spring..

I reached out to a current student fixing to graduate, who has given me a positive review of this program. She told me that the program in her eyes is very fair and that the only people who leave the program fail out.. She said that they started with 70+ students and now have 44. Most withdrew the first semester and about ten failed out the remaining semesters.. No one to her knowledge was kicked out, especially if they had good grades.

She also said that most fail out because they have other preoccupations such as family or marriage or they tried working while going to school. It is a very rigorous program but she says that she still has some time to relax and maintain decent grades, although most of her time is spent studying.

I hope that helps ease some fears.

If nursing is what you really want to do and you want to get into the field asap, then this program is for you! I watched my sister graduate with honors from this program! So don't believe all the horror stories you hear about people dropping out. If you want it bad enough, you will make it work. Already sent in my acceptance, can't wait to meet everyone in 3 weeks!!

the he schedule is Monday - Friday. I think classes are Monday - Thursday and Friday is clinicals, however don't quote me on that.
