Anyone else plan on applying in August?

Congrats to everyone who has gotten an acceptance email so far!

I'm with NurseNProgres for being unable to complete the fingerprint portion. It gave me the same message about not having the records yet. Hopefully, we'll be able schedule it within the next couple days.

A couple people have asked about the drug screening: I got an email from SurScan today saying I need to come in to complete a drug screening within the next 48 hours at one of three locations. Keep checking your inbox for an email from SurScan and not the school about this requirement.

As for the Clinical Readiness, it says the TB screening needs to be taken in December of this year. I contacted the school to ask them about when this needs to be completed since our clinical readiness needs to be done by November. I'll let you all know when I hear back.

Thanks Devlynn! You are right there are different agency numbers. The two you listed and on the actual email there is a different one (TX9204402) as well. I will try using the one you did since you were successful

I'm still waiting for them to send out the UHV ID email to get everything else started.

I'm also still wondering about the different TB test due dates

Hi guys,

I received my student ID and done set up the email. You need to change the password when you log in. The default password will be your DOB, lowercase of your last name and exclamation point (Ex: 010175w!). I also done with my drug scan, blood titters, shots yesterday. What I still can't do is the finger thing and of course the delay TB screening. Let me know if any of you guy can proceed with the fingerprint pass. Have a nice day!

I received my student ID but for some reason I can not set up the email.

I could not open the drug screen link:

Until I manually deleted %20 and use below link

For your information, this uh1312 drug screen is for UHV students. If you also applied for UTHSC or UTMB, you may want to wait for a little bit; because other schools may use different screen companies.

Has anyone heard back from from UHV on if we have to wait to take TB until December? Has anyone else received an email from surscan to take the drug screen because I have yet to hear from them although I made my payment on 9/14.

Haven't heard yet about the TB test.

As for the drug screening, you'll get an email from Surscan instructing you to come in during the next 48 hours to one of their locations. The email comes randomly some time after you made your payment. Make sure to print out the email and bring it with you. You don't have a set appointment; you just go in between the hours of operation. It didn't take more than a half hour, but there was only one other person there besides me at the time.

I received my student ID and set up the email today.

I paid to Surscan.com on 9/17, still wait for the company to give me a notice for drug screen.

For Certifiedbackground.com, anyone done with it? The website charges us $30 each. Damn, this is a easy money for them.
