  1. Hi Phlisha! I just accepted a position for the residency program at MDA starting in February. I was wondering if you could share with me you experience so far. How is it working for MDA? how is the nightshift? how is it with paper charting (since Ive heard they haven't transitioned to computer charting just yet) any feedback will help alot. thanks a bunches!
  2. @TRAY8951 I just called last week and they told me that the financial aid packages will be sent to us after we register for classes. So I'm assuming after the week of the 17th. You must also have all your certified profile stuff done (besides the TB test) in order to register and receive your fin aid package. Hope this helps! :)
  3. Thanks Devlynn! You are right there are different agency numbers. The two you listed and on the actual email there is a different one (TX9204402) as well. I will try using the one you did since you were successful I'm still waiting for them to send out the UHV ID email to get everything else started. I'm also still wondering about the different TB test due dates
  4. Just received my Acceptance email too! :) congrats to everyone. Mytienvnbt, These are full acceptance letters as long as you complete the steps mentioned in the email. To my understanding, the welcome day is not an interview, as they have said they will not be conducting any interviews this year. I got the same instructions on the email..however I cannot open the PDF file forms and download them :/ they are just images. I have emailed back letting them know. Has anyone else had this problem??
  5. Hi @jinglrbob ..I am also applying to the 2015 program. I was wondering if you can give us some insight of your experience? Like what specialty you chose, application process, and how classes have been so far. Also if you are considering working and doing the program part time after the first year? ...Is that a process in which UT helps you with? Any info would really help. thanks! :)
  6. thanks for the info kiinkofan06 ! that's interesting that they are not doing interviews this year. At least we'll get to know sooner
  7. Thanks so much! this really helped. I have applied and just currently waiting on decisions. Good luck on your last semester!:)
  8. Thanks so much for posting your experience aret21! I was glad to read a positive comment on this program. ...on further note does anyone know when in September interview decisions will be sent out? The website states September but doesn't specify. I'm so anxious! ..Good Luck to all! :-)
  9. Hi [COLOR=#003366]apriljacklynn! I have been folowing this and ur other posts on here. I am curently applying to the Spring 2015 cohort for UHV. If you could give me some insight into the application process, the interview, and the actual year you have been experiencing at UHV that would be awesome! I have read alot of posts from the 2014 cohort of this being a "weeding out" school in order to maintain their high NCLEX rating . Do you feel like this is true? I have read some heart breaking stories on other posts. Thanks!
