Yes, becoming a nurse aide is a good start before starting GEPN. Some people were CNAs before starting nursing school while others were something else (non-nursing/non-healthcare workers). At least that's what I heard. I know one who went straight to GEPN right after graduating from University and was not a CNA. It can vary.

For the graduate application, did you submit a statement of objective, writing samples, and other documents? I know we don't need letter of rec, unofficial test scores and transcripts for this one. We don't need to do that, right? All I did was fill out my personal information and paid the fee, and that was it..

GEPN was rolling last year, but now it's not this year. The website says we'll hear them back by January.
