UH Manoa GEPN Cohort 2022

Just checking in to see if anyone will be applying to UH Manoa's GEPN program next week. I'm nervous for the application process so if you guys have any advice or questions, I made this forum for us!

My cohort has 48 students. I think only 5 of us are still working while going to school. 
 

some of us got notified oct 22 last year, some were put on the waiting list and got in last minute because someone dropped out. 

Wow, sounds intense! But it seems like you have the weekends free for now?  Hope you are able to find some time for self-care!  ?

Do you know if there is a reason that your cohort is 48?  I heard in the info sessions that there are usually 50.

Yes, weekends for now. Clinicals are either Friday sat or sun I was fortunate to have a Friday clinical LOL. 
 

48 because 2 people dropped out.

Hello everyone, 

I have applied for the DNP program with the FNP track. I graduated this Spring with a bachelors degree in Microbiology. I have taken 3/6 of the prerequisites so far. I have research experience working with arthropod borne diseases. I am a certified nurse aide and am currently working as a medical assistant for a family nurse practitioner. 
I don’t have much experience and averaged B’s in college so I am very nervous! 
I submitted my applications September 5th and they were placed under review September 16th. Hoping to hear from the university this week based off of last years cohort. Fingers crossed!

I applied back in early September. Has anyone heard anything yet from admissions?? Hopefully we begin to hear soon about being accepted.

Hi did anyone get the message from Chris? He said that the results will be later this month because they had a lot of applicants.
