UFV September 2016 Applicants

Published

Hey everyone!

I don't think there is a September 2016 page yet so I thought I would make one. :) What grades and how many hours are you all applying with? I need people to wait nervously with me. ;)

Hi:) I have applied for the Fall 2016 intake as well. Have you completed all of the requirements?

I finally found this page! Was surprised no one had started one haha. I applied for September as well, with 3 A's and one B for the high school classes. I have a total of 110 volunteer hours, how about everyone else?

Hello!

I have just applied for the september intake as well. I am so excited, I have 3 A's and 1 B too and not exactly sure how many volunteer hours but more than 100. Hopefully hear back soon about attending the Information session í ½í¸Š

That's awesome! I'm super excited! Hoping for the best for all of us.

Hey guys,

I've also applied to the sept. 2016 intake. I applied with all A's for my high school prereqs and 10,000+ hours of work experience that was approved, as I currently work in a long term care home :)

nervously awaiting the invite for the information session!

All of your applications sound so strong! I've applied with all A's in the required courses and around 140 volunteer hours. I'm really nervous I won't have enough hours though! :( I'm anxiously awaiting the Info Session e-mail now. I've heard they usually go out early March, has anyone heard this too? Have you guys applied to any other schools? If so, which ones?

@LindseyT, 140 volunteer hours should be fine from what I've read through previous intakes posted on this forum. Most of the hours are around there.

Emails go out late feb/early march so we have a bit of waiting to do. I also applied to KPU, how about you?

I hope I get in for the September intake but if not I'll just keep trying, gotta be positive!

I've applied to TRU and VIU. I've been trying to apply to KPU but when I try to select a program on my application, BScN isn't an option. When did you apply? I applied to KPU for the January 2016 intake but my math mark wasn't strong enough so I wasn't accepted. I've upgraded it since then so I really hope I have a shot this time.

The BScN isn't an option for the KPU application because the Ministry of Education is reviewing the program. I spoke to one of the advisors at KPU and he told me to apply to the Health Sciences department by March 1** (I chose the health unit clerk) then to request a program change when the BScN applications open; so you could do this too!

(I typed March 31 originally, it's actually March 1st, sorry guys!)

All you ladies sound amazing I did receive an e-mail stating that my application is complete and is being further reviewed did anyone else receive this too? I also applied at college of the Rockies which you finish your degree at uvic after 2 years it's far away but you gotta do what you gotta do!
