I am starting a thread for UFV, Sept 2013 applicants (thus the title)
I am a Jan 2013 reject and hoping for a spot in the fall. Is anyone here a repeat applicant?
I believe that your grades will get you a pre-selected interview if they are good enough (all A's or all A's and a B). That being said, they are also looking for other attributes that could indicate success in the program. If you are not pre selected, but are granted an interview based on your essay and/or experience, your chances are equally good. Unfortunately, it is so competitive to even get an interview your grades have to be pretty stellar. Due to limited seats in the program many of us who would make excellent nurses, will not make the cut, based on per-requisites alone. Its a jungle out there. Get your A's in order
Mmm I would say look professional but don't go over the top bringing a full piece suit and a briefcase. Just make sure you look clean and dress with effort. I hope everyone does well. I think my interview letter came late.. it says If I still haven't wrote the essay, call in to book a day. So I'm assuming they meant to send the letter before the essay writing...
riri.g, mine said the same thing. And I agree, dress "business casual". I don't think it's necessary to wear dress pants and a blazer...but I'd avoid light jeans or anything that's too casual. I really doubt that what you wear will have any say on your aptitude for nursing, but you want to make a good first impression.

Hey so just wondering, did anyone get a set answer? Is it 80-90 students receiving interviews? Or 60?
