UF Generic BSN Fall 2009 Applicants

I saw a few threads for the Accelerated BSN, but none for the Generic BSN. Does anybody know when Fall 2009 applicants recieve their acceptance letters? I heard from one source that it was sometime in May.

Also, I was just kind of curious what everybodys GPA was etc. and what school you are applying from?

I will have a 3.58 at the end of the semester..

I applied also! I have a 3.8 commutative GPA...did great on prerequisites and have them all complete. I'm coming from Florida Community College. Is anyone else transferring? and if so are you planning on living on campus??

i don't think i'll be living on campus per say (if you're talking about dorming/student housing). if i get in i'll most likely drive up there this summer and find an apartment close to campus.

Keep us avid readers posted on when you receive your acceptance letter! I'm a graduate of UF and loved my time there. Not nursing unfortunatley but rather I graduated with a teaching degree. My interest in this site is that my daughter is a nursing student here in VA.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll get your acceptance letter soon!

Does UF accept nursing students ONLY based on their GPA?? Is their any other criteria that they consider?? Also does anyone know how many students they accept for the semester??

UF is a very holistic school the take

a look at GPA, leadership/Awards-Honors, And Two Essays.

125-130 students are usually accepted.

Just Because you have a HIGH GPA it doesn't

mean you will get. I know nursing students who had a 3.3

and still got in.. So you know its more than GPA!
