i don't think i'll be living on campus per say (if you're talking about dorming/student housing). if i get in i'll most likely drive up there this summer and find an apartment close to campus.

i have a quick question regarding state licensure. i will be going to nursing school in florida (either fgcu or uf) but don't necessarily want to live/work here when i'm done. i've lived here for around 20 years and to be honest with you, i just want a change in scenery. can i finish school here in florida, then, after i take and pass the nclex, go to california and take their state licensure test instead of florida's'? sorry if this is a somewhat obvious or redundant question, but i'm oblivious to how the whole licensure process works. thanks in advance, jimmie

i'm currently in the market for a smartphone and was intrigued by the medical apps that the iphone has to offer. how applicable are these programs for use in nursing school? how exactly would programs such as skyscape come into use? do you use them during clinicals? i'm definitely behind the curve when it comes to these things and was hoping somebody could fill me in on how the different iphone applications are useful in the nursing practice.

I saw a few threads for the Accelerated BSN, but none for the Generic BSN. Does anybody know when Fall 2009 applicants recieve their acceptance letters? I heard from one source that it was sometime in May. Also, I was just kind of curious what everybodys GPA was etc. and what school you are applying from?
