2015 UF BSN Admissions

Hey guys! So I just joined allnurses, but I have been watching the forums for the UF BSN Admissions for a while. I realized there is not an active one yet for 2015 and I would like to get it started! I know we all are anxious still from letting go of our applications April 5 and now we are waiting until June to hear the results! I am currently a UF student and I am really hoping to get into this fantastic program. I hope to attract students that were previously accepted to hear what they have to say about the admissions process and the program itself! Essentially, I wanted a place where I could discuss my nervousness with people that understand! (Plus, I know everyone is curious as to what caliber of students we are facing this year as well!!)

Who else out there applied for Fall 2015?

Very true! My backup major is Public Health and from what I heard it is great! Did you apply just to UF or do you have another major?

I just applied to UF, so if I don't get in then I plan on switching to Health Education and Behavior and then trying to attend nursing school after graduation, either through the Accelerated program here or at USF maybe!

I'm thinking the same. Did he say that he would be sending letters if he couldn't get it to work today? Or is there still a chance we could find out by email even though we didn't hear today?

He was not really clear on that and I did not straight up ask so I can not say. I sent him an email to clarify over an hour ago and have not heard anything :/

No worries! Just wondering :) I would assume if we don't hear by email tomorrow, then it'll be letters. Just because that makes me feel like they weren't able to figure it out haha So hopefully tomorrow!

Yes I really hope for tomorrow! Letters is another thing that I need clarified though because I asked him which address they will be sent to and he said the one you put on NursingCas. Well, I put both my Gainesville address and my permanent so I still am not sure which one it will send to :p

Hmm yeah I'm not sure about that one! I think I only put my permanent hometown address down (I'm only in Gainesville for Summer A) plus the mail at my apartment complex is awful and I constantly get other people's mail. I'm sure he'll get back to you tomorrow and can tell you which it will be sent to (if they have to resort to letters)!

Yeah I went home for the summer so I'm not sure lol but yeah I'm not too worried. I just need to know before the end of this week because of this class I'm taking so that's why I'm so uptight about knowing immediately haha

Oh my gosh of course we get a newsletter email from NursingCAS the day we think we might find out! That's just a tease! lol
