UF accelerated BSN 2021

Hey everybody! Anyone applying for the above mentioned program? I haven't had luck finding any threads, in regard to this, for that specific year. I would like to find people who are so we can keep in touch through this process.

While they do Spring things on us last minute they don't expect you to finish your castlebranch stuff by tomorrow I'm sure. For the laptop question! I have a mac and never had problems but did have to have the latest ios for like one program.

 

Hi I have another question! IDK if you’re on the Jax campus or Gainesville, but does the Jax campus get to do clinical rotations in pediatrics and neonatal as well? I know UF health in jax doesn’t  have a pediatric unit so I’m just curious

Yes they do! Third semester. There's students at Wolfon's right now I know for sure but I'm not sure where else. And I'm from Jax campus. ?  I don't think there's any neonatal rotations though.

Okay awesome! I have an interview set up with wolfsons next week on their oncology unit ☺️

There’s pediatric rotations, and there’s no NICU but with L&D rotation there’s a chance you can be with the newborn nurse which is close enough. I loved my L&D rotation

Hey, do you know what the weekly schedule is for the JAX campus in terms of lecture, labs and clinicals? How is the program in general? I saw someone else say it was disorganized but I think they were referring to the Gville campus.

I know.  Maybe because FB more mainstream?  I am certainly not trying to be divisive, but I ran groups over the past year for several of the classes I taught, and it worked out well.   OOH!  I see you now on the welcome page ?

They both are very disorganized. They run very similar. Right now we are in clinical 2 days a week with the rest being online. We are in third semester though and first semester is a lot different with more lecture and skills and less clinical.
