I'm getting this forum started early for those who are applying to the UF College of Nursing's Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program!

Feel free to get the discussion going... How do you stand among others (GRE, GPA, etc)? Go Gators! :)

I would appeal it. I know of several people who appealed it and got in.

It appears the large cities in Florida who have sorting centers got theirs for the most part. I'm REALLY hoping the Gainesville people get ours tomorrow.

Curious about petitioning...what exactly does that mean? I'm assuming that UF sends out enough acceptance letters to fill all seats so does the petion give you an opportunity to take a seat if someone rejects thiers? And on a similar note does UF have a waitlist? I know UNF does and several of the current nursing students were originally waitlisted.

Called the office and they said they sent it to my Miami address. Anyone from there receive anything?

I think I remember someone on this post saying they received their letter in Miami, but I think they removed/ changed their post.

He wouldn't give me my status over the phone, which makes me really worry.
