Hello Everyone!

I'm getting this forum started early for those who are applying to the UF College of Nursing's Accelerated Bachelors of Science in Nursing (ABSN) program!

Feel free to get the discussion going... How do you stand among others (GRE, GPA, etc)? Go Gators! :)

I was accepted today! I got my mail in Tampa. Good luck to everyone still waiting :)

Congratulations!!!! That's awesome. If you dont mind, could you tell us your stats for the application (GPA, GRE scores, etc) ?

Yes I received my letter earlier today but I am currently in Tampa so I guess it came here first? I graduate in May from UF with a bachelors in applied physiology and kinesiology. my GPA from my last 60 credits will be around a 9.6 and my pre req gpa is lower, like a 3.5 maybe. I got a 87% on my GRE and I have quite a bit of experience volunteering and shadowing nurses too

My scores are similar...did you do the essays? I did not and while UF doesn't require it hoping that does not make me look bad. At this point second guessing everything :nailbiting:

I did do the essays, but I am not sure if that made a difference or not. I don't think you need to be too worried about that, Im sure youll hear some good news soon!

Thanks and congrats! So much is, or seems to be, subjective that its hard to say for sure what matters most or to feel confident.

Which part of tampa do you live in ? I live in Tampa too and I haven't received anything yet.
