2014 UF Accelerated BSN Applicants

I know someone who spoke to ken directly on the phone earlier and he told them the letters will be mailed out today so I think whoever told you that is wrong. Ken is in charge of pretty much everything with the absn admissions so I would take his word on it. They may have thought you were talking about the regular program or were just mistaken, but I believe letters are being mailed today due to what ken said.

Yeah, I believe the person you spoke to must have been thinking about the general bsn because those are mailed out in July...makes sense that those decisions haven't been made. Geez heart attack central lol

Yea, I agree with you all. The lady said to me, " weren't those applications just due on March 1st"? I then had to correct her and tell her that I was inquiring about the application status for the Accelerated BSN for which applications were due on December 15th. She then put me on hold and talked to whomever and then followed up to say that the apps were still with admissions committee and that it would be a couple more weeks. I didn't trust her word either and had planned to call back later to try to speak to Ken directly if he were available.

I'm glad to know that someone actually spoke to him today and that the decisions are still on schedule to go out today. I was quite taken when she told me it would be a few more weeks. I knew in my head that this couldn't be right.

Yeah definitely not! That would be terrible seeing as how the program starts early in May, that would leave no time for people to plan and get their affairs in order. I can't even believe it's already March...time is flying.

Question- if we're wait listed, do we find out at the same as everyone else? Or we're only notified once everyone has made their decision?

It will tell you in the letter they send you if you have been wait-listed, admitted, or denied.

Melbourne, Fl. I don't know if you know where that is but it's about an hour east of orlando on the coast.

I live in Ocala so mine may come today. I don't get off of work until 4:30pm though and I work in Gainesville. I will post if I get something
