Hey guys! I couldn’t find a thread for those applying for UF’s ABSN program in Summer 2022! I was thinking we could have a thread to support each other and share our thoughts!
I haven’t been able to find much on those admitted to UF’s ABSN program, but I found some things out when I emailed them! Their holistic approach worries me a bit since I feel like I am not well rounded, especially in the medical field. I’m really worried due to having 4 medical drops though if anyone knows how they handle those!
A little bit about me, I’m a senior currently attending UF in my last semester. I’m only taking anatomy and developmental psychology to finish out my prereqs for the program. My upper division GPA is decent at a 3.64 and my overall GPA is a little lower at 3.62. My prereq GPA is really good though at 3.86, but I’ll see how the two I have left affect it.
Has anyone even been able to touch the HESI though? I emailed when we were supposed to be able to register with UF and they said they had an issue with connecting to the Evolve portal. It’s still down and I’m getting even more nervous.
If anyone wants to ask questions, share thoughts, encourage each other, give advice, anything, I figured this thread might be a good place for us to start!!
I think it could be, I remember it involving “personality” in the questions, from what I heard from a friend when they got the link. So I think we’re good
Same! I received an email from UF stating we would get a decision in early March which I know everyone was expecting. Hopefully only a few more weeks until we find out!
I get the feeling like we aren't going to find out until like the end of March LOL. They always release decisions later than they originally say they will be released and no way they will release during Spring break:( I just want to know ASAP!!
I hope not! Honestly, I’ve seen where they have delayed notifying us, but it may not be as many applicants this year? Or they just aren’t active like previous years.. anyone else get an email confirming the CON received all required materials?
I received the email as well confirming they had all my application materials. Honestly, I wouldn’t be too surprised if they released decisions that Friday (March 4th) before Spring break, which starts Saturday March 5th. I have heard in past threads that they release decisions the last day of the week at the end of their work day (4PM-ish) so they don’t have to deal with phone calls and emails about decisions LOL. I hope it it sooner rather than later because I don’t want to wait until after Spring break for decisions ?I’ll be going crazy!

I like your thinking. When we submitted in December, I had in my head we just had to wait until the end of February. I still check everyday. Being in the not knowing is quite a challenge. I just posted in this group to release some angst. LOL

yeah they say end of February to early March but I should’ve known it wouldn’t be in February ?. It’ll get more challenging once it hits March! And releasing the angst is OK that is what this group is for!! We got this ?
