Nurses Recovery

I could scream! I've been selected for testing today. I am supposed to get my conpletetion letter tomorrow. Now that I've been selected, my damn results won't get back until Saturday! Do you think she won't give me my letter until Monday now? I'm so pissed! 13 drug screens in 6 months. With NO PROBLEMS!

I had to do the same and wait for a snail mail letter before most people had internet, and cell phones were for the very rich (back when physicians used palm pilots - I bet you're too young to remember those). I think everyone will have that coming, or should expect it.

Congratulations for hitting the finish line! These programs are not for sissies, and we all get some true grit from towing the line to the bitter end.

Congrats on completion! We must all never forget...from inception these "programs" had to do with one thing and one thing only...money...glad you are shut of these miscreants and can move on in FREEDOM!

Hi All! I am in PA. Just starting the Recovery Trek program. Haven't been picked for a test yet but really want to as I need 3 negatives before I can go back to work. I am on suboxone; had to go through both an addiction psychiatrist and neuropsychiatrist to ensure that I am cognitively ok to work. My question for you all is: how much to these cost and how often are we tested? If this is in the wrong area I am sorry. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

Hi and welcome! I would suggest creating your own thread to ask this question. Only the OP will get a notification of your post, so it's likely to get buried and others won't see your questions, unless they are reading all the comments on OP's thread. I'm not in PA's program, so I can't speak to your question about cost and frequency specifically in PA. Try posting your own thread in the Nurse Recovery forum (which this is the correct forum) and I'd wager you will get many more answers. Best of luck.

Thanks for responding. I will do that. Like others in recovery it's hard to just speak up at times due to backlash. I know we aren't using our names but words still hurt. Have an awesome day :)
