I applied for RN residencies at both UCSF and Stanford during the week of May 10th, 2010. I wanted to hear from anyone who has applied to either program AND has been contacted by a recruiter. Or from anyone who knows for certain (i.e., you work there) when theses decisions will be made. I am a fairly strong candidate and would like to believe I am in the running for a position--but who knows really? I will post if and when I hear anything.
it's really up to the hiring manager & when they want to make a decision..from everything i've heard- we should know by this week because we'll need to complete all the paperwork for the program and what not asap
we will either hear from HR or the unit manager..it's really up to them. All i know is that i'm hoping to get an "Unknown" call on my phone soon!! haha
L & D positions have been filled... if you applied for this section your status should have changed on your profile this morning.

Aww, I'm really sorry BayareaRNBSN- it only means that there is something better out there waiting for you. Don't worry, you'll see. You may be sad now, but before you know it- you're going to have another great job! Just keep your fingers crossed & don't give up hope! Keep us posted :redbeathe
Thanks guys.. the kinds words mean a lot to me :redbeathe I'm back to square one, but it's OK. It feels good I got this far at least. They only interviewed 45 out of the 400 and it was competitive.
My status online still says "in review", but my "option to withdraw" is now gone.... I don't know of anyone waiting on the picu.
has anyone interviewed for the G1 neurology med surge unit for SHC??? I am interviewing there tomorrow and am wondering how many people are interviewing for this position and how many positions are open?...congrats to those of you who were selected for other SHC positions :)
I didn't get it either. i suggest calling them. HR is horrible. They may never contact you. Haven't heard from anyone else.

i still have not heard anything back from LPCH but I thought we were supposed to know by friday. Anyone else?
Also, a friend of a friend has an interview next week for SHC, so I don't think all the positions have been filled.
