Hi all! Thought I would start this thread for the upcoming new grad cohort at UCSF for Spring 2022.
From what I've seen on the website, the application period opens on Saturday, January 8 and goes until Saturday, January 15. No lists of which departments are hiring this go around. Must have your license by March 4th. The program starts on April 4th.
I applied last go around, but I didn't have a test date yet. Hoping I can get in this time!
Good luck to all!

The behavioral question were the generic ones introducing yourself, about how you can handle a difficult situation, clinical experience, etc. One of The clinical question I remembered was about a patient feeling nauseous.. IDK that’s all I can remember because I was so nervous right before ? but they were very nice and made me feel comfortable during the interview

Yes 6 references regardless if you get the job or not. 4 can be from peers and 2 from previous supervisor but they said 1 can probably be from a clinical instructor. How did you feel about the interview?
Just did an interview for MICU. Questions were generic, one situational question and one "tough pt" example was asked for. I did not have a lot of questions for them, and even now I'm drawing a blank about what else I should have asked since a lot of the usual questions (pay rate, start date, next steps, etc) is either told during the interview or is online. Ugh, so nervous, I think I'm gonna puke.

Girl you’re not alone!! I felt the same way. It’s just hard not to think about what we could’ve done better. But at the moment it was the best we can do and that’s all that matters! I’m sure you did better than you’re thinking you did. I hope you get the job! Best of luck ?

thanks! You, too! Still hoping for more calls.
I had my interview this morning for the med/surg high acuity unit and was asked multiple situational questions, a few background questions, and a few generic questions. I was told next steps were to give five references. Does anyone know if we send that to them or do we wait for an email for more details on who to send the references to? Gosh, I hope it went well! Good luck to everyone who is interviewing today and who already HAS interviewed today!

It's an email with a website to enter the info, I believe.
