Hi all! Thought I would start this thread for the upcoming new grad cohort at UCSF for Spring 2022.
From what I've seen on the website, the application period opens on Saturday, January 8 and goes until Saturday, January 15. No lists of which departments are hiring this go around. Must have your license by March 4th. The program starts on April 4th.
I applied last go around, but I didn't have a test date yet. Hoping I can get in this time!
I just wanted to share my experience. I applied to UCSF the last day before the application was due. I only applied to adult oncology/BMT units because that’s the specialty I want to get into. I received a call Thursday evening and was scheduled an interview Monday at 10 AM. I just finished my interview! It was a mix of behavioral, situational, and clinical question through zoom for about 30-45 mins. They said they’re doing interviews all week for that unit and will make a decision by next week. Thanks for the update. I guess they're done calling people for interviews then. That was a unit I applied to. ? Oh well for me! But best of luck to you!

Has anybody that applied to adult critical care units and/or vascular transplant unit had an interview yet or have one scheduled? All of mine are still under “applied” and I’m starting to lose hope…

Hi Ivana, can you please keep us posted. I had my interview on Friday but I applied for the re-entry program instead of the New Grad program. But I heard that the training will be pretty much together most of the time.

Neuro ICU and med-surg have interviews this Thursday. I haven't heard about others.
