UCSF New Grad Program 2023 Questions

Hello all, 

I am at the last semester of the ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. I'm expecting to graduate in early Jan and plan to take the NCLEX early Feb and no later than late Feb. I would like to know the timeline for applying to UCSF's nursing new grad Spring program 2023. Any past experiences with UCSF to share will be greatly appreciated.

on 1/26 you had the department specific PICU interview not the general one with the talent recruiter?

It's the general one on 1/26. Didn't get an interview yet for the department specific one so I was wondering if the PICU department started sending interviews invites for the 2nd interview.

I haven't heard of them sending out any invites yet but it is possible they did already since it's already the 14th.

For anyone who got the email to obtain references how long after interview did you all wait to receive that email?

I had my interview Friday and got my reference check email Monday around 11PM

I had an interview on Thursday and got a reference check 3 hours afterwards. 

has anyone else received an offer already? I know one other person has.

Hello!! Just an update; had my interview today and they informed me that the turnaround time will be quick. Interviews will end tomorrow for my unit and decisions will be announced next week.

Which unit did you interview for? Has anyone  heard back from ICN?

I interviewed for the Adult Cardiac ICU

I had an interview today as well!! with the medical TCU. They told me offers would be sent before 2/27, but I'm hoping sooner. I've seen from previous threads that people could get offers as early as this week but most likely next week. it really depends on the unit.
