Listing for the New Nurse Residency Training Program (NNRTP): Registered Nurse Training Programs

Looks like applications open July 30th, and I'm antsy to get my application together after having passed the NCLEX but not getting the Stanford new grad residency ?

According to Spring's cohort (https://allnurses.com/UCSF-new-grad-Spring-t740142/), pay starts at around $72.56. I unfortunately missed the webinar and am not sure where to find a recording. I've emailed them so will be sharing it out if it's available.

Let the commiserating begin~

I thought during the webinar they told us not to get any extra certs because UCSF would pay for us to get it?

They did say that yes, but I'm not sure if people with their ACLS already got preference. Mostly I'm just trying to rationalize why I wasn't in the group of people who got a 2nd interview invite for adult surgical LOL

Did you have your ACLS certification? I felt really great about my interview but I'm wondering if my lack of that certification is what did me in...

I do! I also have my RN license and a lot of other certifications. My interview was super strict on time and we would get cut right exactly at 1 minute and 2 minutes. I think what may have made me stand out is that I was very brief and direct with my answers, so I didn't get cut off. There's probably a lot of other factors as well, but that's all I can think of on top of my head. I wouldn't lose hope yet tho since the day still hasn't ended ?

I wonder if each person only gets to interview for one track or if you can be selected for a second interview with all of them

Did anybody who got a second interview get an invite to another specialty? Or did everyone only get an invite to one specialty?

I didn't get cut off either and the interviewer even said she was really impressed with my response, but I will try my best to stay positive! Wishing everyone luck!

IDK but I feel like everyone will most likely get one interview for one track??? Because there's so many people?? Who knows but I'm still waiting for adult medicine. That's my number 1

Hey all!! Peri op just sent out invites about 15 min ago to interview on tues, wed, thurs for those who were wondering about the OR. Congrats to everyone!! ?

Did anybody get an interview for peds critical care?

Just got an invitation to interview with adult periop! Aaah so exciting! It's going to be a solo panel interview this time

Strangely I also just got an interview saying I was not selected for second round interviews. Two contradictory messages ?

Edit: I looked more closely and though the body of the email didn't specify a track, the very end of the subject line said it was from the adult surgical track.

I just got a rejection for Adult Surgical (my 3rd choice)

Any other rejections coming through?
