UCSF new grad fall 2021

has anyone heard about UCSF's october 2021 application dates yet? and can you apply to the children hospital on this app also?

I applied to everything but ICU. I had PEDs and Surgical Onc under review, but I was not contacted. Still holding out hope!

Hello Everyone, 

So I applied to Peds Units only. The PICU, PCICU, and Hem/Onc/BMT. I submitted both my PICU and PCICU on 7/28 and just submitted Hem/Onc yesterday since deadline was 8/11/21. My PCICU shows under review as of 8/8 but my PICU still only shows "applied" only. For those of you who applied to PICU, when did your status update to under review? Good luck to everyone applying for new grad positions. ?

ICN - Submitted 7/28, Status: Still Applied 

PCICU - Submitted 7/20, Status: Under Review as of 8/8

PICU - Submitted 7/20, Status: Still Applied

L&D - Submitted  7/20, Status: Under Review as of 8/4

I applied to the PICU on 7/20 as well and my application is currently under-review. I think it changed on Friday.

Hi all,

I applied to adult units -Surgical Onc; Antepartum; Hem/Onc/BMT; MS Adult medicine; MS Transplant. The first three are under review. I graduate on Friday and I'm kinda nervous that puts me out of the running, even with the 9/25 deadline to be licensed. I hope I get some sort of correspondence soon.

Makes sense. I have heard they prioritize internal applicants. Employees and ppl who went to nursing school at UCSF.

Hello! Is anyone aware of the timeline for things? It looks like the page that had all of the information has been taken down. Like the last day for interview invites, timeline for interviews, notices of application status, etc? I didn't attend the information session and feel like I have no idea what is going on LOL. ?

I applied to all the adult units and just got a call back this morning to speak about my resume. They didn’t say from which unit exactly. I wasn’t able to answer and super nervous to call back but will do so later today! 
I hope this is good news!

They didn't give specific details at the info session but they said interviews would be held mid August and offers would be made the last week of August or first week of September. I would assume they will have contacted everyone who got an interview within the next week or so.
