  1. I was rejected today. Congrats to everyone who received an award.
  2. I have a DTI ratio of 96% and I have not had my credit checked. I am guessing I am too far down the list because I am tier 2. Has anyone with DTI less than 100% had their credit checked, been a finalist, or awarded? I am an RN if it matters. The call center said a lot of people are still under review but I am curious if I have any shot or maybe I filled out something wrong.
  3. Are any of you who are finalists for or offered the Nursing Corp Repayment program RNs or just nps right now?
  4. Hi all. I am wondering if anyone has had their credit check that is less than 100% DTI, this year or in previous years? I am at 97%, tier 2 and tier one for critical shortage. Has anyone had there credit checked since the initial time period in early May? Still trying to stay hopeful and keep my fingers crossed!
  5. Good point, I applied to tele as my first choice also. Has anyone out there who applied to tele heard back yet?
  6. Hi! I did not receive an email invitation but I am still hopeful. I applied to telemetry and 6NE - Surgical Stepdown/Transplant. Did anyone get an invitation today?
  7. I applied to everything but ICU. I had PEDs and Surgical Onc under review, but I was not contacted. Still holding out hope!
  8. Hi all! I was out of the country last week! I didn’t get any voicemails, but I’m wondering if they reached out about interviews for ED med surg, or float pool?
  9. Has anyone heard from the ED?
  10. Oh, good eye! Mine says under review also.
  11. I used the processing page on the CABRN website as a guide. I applied directly to California, early, in March for my May 27th graduation date. It currently says that my transcripts are pending, even the prerequisite ones that they have already received. I also ordered my transcript to be sent directly on my graduation date both electronically and by mail. I have had students from previous cohorts at my school say they followed the same timeline and were able to sit for the NCLEX by late June or early July. If you are applying to Texas first, I would look at the processing page and it will give you a pretty accurate idea of the timeline for license by endorsement from another state.
  12. Hi everyone! I also applied with a general cover letter, but I included my ED experience. I volunteered at UCDMC before I went out of state for school so here’s to hoping for the best.
  13. Hi all! I applied and left my cover letter general, but I highlighted my ED experience. I went to school out of state but I am from the Sacramento area.
  14. Thank you for sharing your perspective. I agree that ED is very competitive and I totally understand why internal candidates should be heavy considered in this scenario. I am just going to leave it to the universe to guide me to where I am supposed to be. It was a great interview process and experience even if I was not chosen.
  15. That makes since, which is why I am not taking it personally and just moving forward. Everyone was very kind through the process tbh. They just said that if for any reason, there is a change in need they would reach out until up to 3 weeks before the program start, August 1. So I am guessing if the offered candidates are unable, or the need increases that would be the possible scenarios for which they would reach out.
