I have been trying to find the application dates for the next new grad cohort but I can't find it on the website. I think you have to apply to the children's hospital separately.

The Fall 2021 NNTRP (New Nurse Residency Training Program) application period is Friday, July 16, 2021 – Friday, July 30, 2021. Interviews will be held from mid to late August. The program starts with orientation on Monday, October 25, 2021.

Anyone have any guidance on what to include in cover letters? I know Davis wants you to specifically include things from their mission statements/program goals...

Hey guys,I am also planning on applying. Hope you guys all get interviews!

Has anyone been able to find the application online?

I’m currently looking for it too, can’t find it.

it looks like they posted a few peds ones so far! I can see them on the SF job search page. Nothing from Oakland yet. If you type "registered nurse" they should come up and they specify that they are for the new nurse residency.

They said Oakland is a separate entity on the webinar they had

Oakland doesn't have a set program for new grads according to their site (I copied and pasted below). They hire ongoing and then give you a preceptor but seems like it isn't a cohort and you have to actively be looking for a position to apply to regularly!

"We hire new graduates on an ongoing basis. Any positions listed as RN I/II are positions that are open to both experienced RNs and new graduates. New graduate nurses should be licensed prior to applying for a new graduate program. If hired, you will spend six to eight weeks working with a preceptor."
