Hi everyone, I just wanted to start this new topic for those like myself who are interested in applying to the MEPN program for the 2020 cohort.

Hi guys! This was my second time applying/interviewing and I’m stoked to say I was admitted for the psych track this year!! Can’t wait to meet everyone.

I agree with above! Congrats to all who are accepted. A beautiful and challenging journey awaits us.
To those who did not get accepted, please know out of 600 applicant you were 1 of the 150 people they interviewed. Nothing I say will change how heart broken you are right now but whatever you do, DON’T GIVE UP! Next cycle application is in 6 months, look over everything again and be ready to interview even stronger than ever.

I applied to so many nursing schools decade ago and never got it. If one school had one requirement the other had another. I didn’t give up, I just put my goal and dreams on hold. I worked in Healthcare field and around amazing individuals who advocate for patients and patient care is at utmost. I am glad I waited. everything happens when the time is right.

Does anybody remember hearing when we would know about scholarship awards and finaid or if you had to make a deposit to hold your spot? Just wanted to ask here before I bugged admissions.

Also does anyone know when the first day of class/orientation is? I remember SJ mentioning this during interviews, but that entire day was a blur...

I actually don't feel like the copy and paste question is necessary. I only included it because other nursing school groups I have been a part of has the criteria to avoid spammers/nonstudents. Any ideas for alternative questions? Or I can get rid of it entirely!

Definitely, I am still living in Bakersfield right now but plan on making trips up there regularly to scope out the area. I just joined the facebook group, joseph mojica, or look for the bald guy with a beard : )
