I just received an email that I have an interview scheduled for 6/1.

Did anyone else apply? Has anyone interviewed or been selected?

The job posting didn't mention how many they were seeking or when they want to start the program so I'm pretty lost on the details. It sounds like an amazing opportunity though.

Are they contacting everyone (all 16 candidates) that they interviewed or just people who got into the program?

I asked that in the interview and ------- told me that they would contact all of us.

-------- sent me an email on June 5th sating that the results would be out on Friday and that we would all be informed so I would say there is still hope.

They interviewed 16 and half of those 16 are a part of this thread..and still no results?... Hmm :/

Well I guess well probably get the results for sure by Monday

Has anyone checked their status on the UCSD website?? Mine changed from Refer to hiring dept to Pending Decision 06/09/2012. What does that mean?? Hopefully good news???
