UCSD New Grad Residency March 2023

Hi everyone! Just thought I would start a forum for those who applied to the UCSD New Grad position for this upcoming March. Leave a comment if you applied!

Did anyone from NICU hear back? I just got an email about the New Graduate Applicant Webinar, but that's all ?

I just received this email, which is the first of any correspondence from UCSD since I applied in October (I chose ICU and PCU units):


Thank you for your interest in UC San Diego Health and for applying to #119500 (RN) New Grad Registered Nurse.  We would like to invite you to learn more about UC San Diego Health, the new grad RN interview process, and have the opportunity to meet with individual hiring departments.  We are hosting a New Graduate Applicant Webinar on Wednesday January 11, 2023 at 3:00pm PST.   

It seems weird to get this and not an invitation to interview. It reads to me as if I haven't already applied. I'll probably call the number and inquire, but wanted to see if anyone else has gotten this?

Hi Hanniebananie! I just received the same email. Very curious if everyone who applied is getting these because it kinda seems generic, but IDK.

I think it is generic, I have an interview tomorrow and I got one of these emails as well.

same here! And I applied to NICU.

Apparently the email was only sent to those that were referred to hiring department

Oh is that right? I forgot to include that in my other post, but I do in fact have "Referred to Hiring" as my status and I did receive the email.
