Hi everyone,
I noticed that a forum for UCONN absn program for 2019 hasn't been made, so i have decided to make one:)
I applied for this program in december for the feburary deadline. This is my number one school, i hope i get in! good luck to everyone else!
Have no fear. The degree awarded is a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in nursing. It is the same exact degree that a school that places BSN on a student's diploma awards.
The state board of nursing in Connecticut has fully approved the curriculum. The program is also accredited by CCNE - Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education as well as American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN).
Hey Everyone!
I'm planning to apply for the August 1st deadline at Storrs campus.
I saw that a few people asked what the personal statement was suppose to be about and how many pages, but there was no answer.
I'm gunna repeat the question. Anyone have any idea?
Any info will be much appreciated.
Thank you! AND best of luck to everyone and congrats to those who already got accepted:)

Hi!
There isn't really a limit for how many words/pages the personal statement has to be. Mine was only one page. I wanted it to be short, but sweet and well written. Less is more! I wrote about the challenges I faced in my first year of college and how I have improved significantly, making me a great candidate for the program. Try not to basically put your resume in essay form for this, but telling a story is always a great option. I hope this helps!
