UCONN CEIN 2019

Hi everyone,

I noticed that a forum for UCONN absn program for 2019 hasn't been made, so i have decided to make one:)

I applied for this program in december for the feburary deadline. This is my number one school, i hope i get in! good luck to everyone else!

Specializes in Neonatal ICU.

I'm applying for the June 1st deadline, but does anyone know if they send out acceptances before August? I was admitted into UMass Amherst's program which starts in mid-August, but UConn is my first choice, so I'd hate to find out about UConn after I'd already had to commit to UMass.

Well I applied for February 17 and it's now April 3 and I still haven't received my decision

Congratulations to those of you who got accepted!! That's wonderful!

Would anyone be willing to share their undergrad stats? I've had a rough academic past - including the pre-requisites. I've had to re-take several courses and my overall GPA is only a 3.1. I'm pretty discouraged, but will apply anyway. Thanks everyone! :)

Hey guy and gals, kinda following up on ayydee's post here. I was hoping a few of those who got accepted could share there credentials; relevant work experience, major, GPAs, etc. I have not applied yet and would like to know who I stack up. The programs seems very competitive.

Also, is anyone applying for the August 1st deadline?

I started my application today and I don't see any guidelines for the personal statement. Is it open ended?

Hey there! I'm applying for the August deadline as well. I graduated from UConn with a 3.35. Worked at Yale for a year so I have clinical research experience and I've also worked as an EMT for two years (and still do) so i have clinical experience. I wrote my statement and have my letters of rec so now i'm just waiting to finish up my last prereqs. I got an A and B+ in my first two. Whats your application look like?

Does anyone know when applicants will hear for the June 1 deadline? I was accepted into another program, but UCONN is my first choice.
