Hi all,

I saw a great thread from last year about UConn's 2016 CEIN/BS applicant pool and thought I'd start a new thread for applicants in the 2017 cycle.

I applied for the January 31st deadline. Based on everything I read on last year's thread, I'm thinking I'll hear back anytime between the first week of March and the last week of April - trying to stay patient! I am still working on 2 prerequisite courses but they should be done at the end of March. We'll see how the outstanding courses may affect my decision date. Stamford is my first choice for campus since I currently live/work in NYC and it's not too far away from where I currently am.

I'm excited to hear from anyone else applying to the program and what your application experience is like. Good luck to everyone!

I just found out about my acceptance to the Avery point campus, I live in Bozrah an that's right in the middle of AP an storrs campus! Good luck to anyone applying for the other deadlines!

Did you find out via email or letter? And congratulations!

Via email at first apparently there was a mixup when sending out letters. I got a letter in the mail this weekend.

vinderbread, CNA Did you get an acceptance letter in the mail or did you call for the Storrs campus? I am still waiting patiently and i see your the only one on here that head about storrs.

Last I heard storrs was almost full unfortunately :(

Yes it is almost completely full. I heard through email. I called earlier last week and was told the lady was really busy so I felt bad. During the call I was also told they were still looking over applications (hence the delay and why we are getting letters this week). I think Storrs and Stamford are mostly getting their letters Tuesday or Wednesday!

Congrats to those already accepted!

I applied for the june 30th deadline with one outstanding class and havent heard anything yet. Getting really nervous and worried they pushed my app to the august deadline. And if not why i havent heard yet?! Any advice

This happened to me last year I didn't hear at all after I applied for the June deadline and then I got a denial letter in September it really aggravated me. Just be patient! Sending all good vibes!!!

I got my official letter yesterday with one outstanding pre-req left, so I think you were looked at for this cohort. Today might be the day for you because my letter was processed by the post office two days ago according to the date on the envelope!! If you don't hear anything today I would call and find out if the letter got lost in the mail or if they did end up pushing your application to August.

Admissions informed me that people who were not accepted this cohort were not denied, but that their files were pushed off until the next review date.

I know I submitted this year and got an email saying I was being pushed to June and then I just found out so hopefully if they are pushing you to the next deadline they will notify via email but fingers crossed you get in!

I called and she told me it was pushed to august deadline. I have a geeling its because all of my info got there on the 30th of june exactly so with so many applicants prob just pushed it forward to then (hopefully thats the reason why , and hopefully there is still toom then) are there spots still available for that deadline?

It really depends, every year is different I think. You should hear end of August beginning of September!
