UCLA Summer 2017 RN New Grad Residency

Published

UCLAs application for their Summer 2017 New Graduate Residency program opened this weekend so figured I'd start the forum where we could all converse, update and support each other through the LONG and stressful process.

STAFF UPDATE

Tell us about UCLA by visiting University of California (UCLA) School of Nursing | Peer Reviews.

Did all of the people that you know who were offered a position receive reference checks for that unit?

I didn't have one either

Does anyone know when we will hear more after our offer for the next steps?

HR had told me not to worry if I didn't hear from them until the end of July after accepting

Has anyone heard anything from perinatal?

Does anyone know the latest we should expect to hear by? My status hasn't changed but I also haven't been offered anything.

Same here. If anyone could give any info that would be awesome! HR didn't give too much info, only that they would be giving offers until July but no specific time frame

positions can be filled up though July 31st, my understanding is you have 48 hours to make a decision after being given an offer

Specializes in SICU; CTICU; ICU float.

As an internal applicant I can also confirm that the date given to us on paper is July 31st. Stay positive people!

Check your emails. Me and my friend have already received the HR decision as of today. Good luck!

Has anyone actually been rejected? At this point I'm assuming since I haven't heard anything I've been rejected since offers have been given out to others already :(
