UCLA Summer 2016 RN New Grad Residency Program

Hi everyone! I wanted to make a forum to connect anyone that is applying for UCLA's new grad program starting this summer! Post below if you're interested in applying and which units you're interested in. I'm thinking about SICU, oncology, and the OR.

I interviewed for 8ICU and last I heard we weren't going to hear anything until the end of June, even possibly the beginning of July. Is that still true or has anyone heard something different?

When HR called me with an offer for CTICU, I asked if the other residents would find out soon as well. He told me they plan to have told everyone either last week or this week (6/6-6/10). I hope that helps and I hope they keep their word!

Hey I still haven't heard anything from OR either. My friend interviewed too and hasn't heard.

Thats what she told me too because she said she was going on a conference. I haven't heard back from them since i interviewed. No reference or anything neither.

Who did you speak to? I called HR this morning and asked a general question, when will applicants be notified of hiring decisions. I was told they're making calls this week and next. So no one knows when they're contacting us. It could be any day now or next week. Or later...
