hi guys! I'm starting this thread for the Winter 2026 Cohort at UCLA Health since the application opened up yesterday (9/5)! feel free to update on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

Do you guys think that if we didn't get selected for our first option they might send us elsewhere? Or is everything pretty much over if we haven't received an email for an interview yet?

From what I gather from previous forums, it's pretty much over. It seemed the only way you get second option is if you were invited to interview when they sent interview invites! Not sure if anything has changed but that's how it was with previous forums!

No I only know about NICU but you may ask your interviewers in the PICU this question and any other questions you have about the process towards the end of your interview.

I just got a cancelled interview email that was scheduled today, they said they would reach out when they find out more dates/times to reschedule. Should I be worried? Has this happened to anyone before?

Ahh that's so stressful ! I'm sorry, what unit?  Hopefully they reach out again soon. I would imagine it's more about what's going on in the unit today, if it's extra busy or they are understaffed. Probably not a reflection of your candidacy.

So stressful ! It was for the RR/OR at the Westwood ASC
