Members are discussing topics related to job interviews, work schedules, uniform fittings, and orientation for a cohort starting in March. They are sharing information about the hiring process, interview experiences, and the number of new grads being hired for different units. Some are also seeking tips for specific unit interviews and discussing the likelihood of being hired based on the number of applicants.
Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for the Winter 2025 Cohort at UCLA. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!
The application opened up today 09/06! Good luck to all of us ❤️

Oh wow! That gives me hope, I'm getting discouraged. I applied to peds onc and PICU. Seems like interviews were already sent out for those units so I was pretty bummed. Hopefully that means I can still get an interview. Thanks for the response 🙂

usually, they will try to fill up other units as well, so you might get invites for ones that you didn't apply to

I'm not too sure, but I've heard people getting interview for the same unit weeks apart, so it might be depending on their need. And sometimes after rejection, if there is still open slots from candidates that declined their offer near the end, they will reach out again to available candidates.

I see, thanks so much! I'll just stay patient and try to not lose hope.
