UCLA New Grad Summer 2012 program

Hi! Two new grad programs each year. First one is in march and the second is in August. Good luck! :]

I had my on-site second interview last week. The UD told me she's hoping to notify the applicants in a months time. Did you get a second interview?

I did have a second interview but I am not sure if it is the same for each unit regarding the time frame for hiring. Some units hired in early may while others are still interviewing. Also, i dont think every unit had second interviews. Which unit did you interview for?

I am from Ohio, so I went for the unit tour immediately after my interview in April. What was your second interview like? So the final decision will be in a month? Waiting is so hard!

Well looks like I'm off to Johns Hopkins, didnt get an offer for the transplant ICU. Not bitter at all. Good luck to everyone one else who is still lOoking for a job :) and congrats to those who got offers! :)

Has anyone heard from HR or their UD on when we would hear from health services to have our physical, etc.?

I emailed HR and she let me know that they are still figuring out the exact start dates and as soon as they do an email will be sent out to all of us.

Hi jcp24 I was offered a position in the PICU as well! I guess I don't have the ability to private message people on here but maybe we can exchange emails, I'd love to get to know some of my future PICU buddies :)

She told me that she'll let me know when to do all the paperwork, physical, background check, etc when the start date is known. Apparently, background checks have to be done no more than 30 days from the start date. So if you do it too early, you'll have to do it again. So we can all relax and enjoy life for a month.

I just accepted and offer on the Liver Transplant ICU at UCLA RR. IM SO EXCITED !!! Any of my future co workers want to exchange info?
