Hello to all prospective UCLA Nurses!
My name is Matthew and I'm a CSU Long Beach alumnus.
I'm currently working as a Super User RN for the UCLA Health System.
I hope this thread will be able to answer our questions about the application, interview process and a place for any updates anyone receives for the 2013 new grad program.
With that said, I was told by recruitment that applications will be made available in March. :)
did anyone hear back from CTICU today?I interviewed this morning and got a reference email.......
Its a great sign that you got the reference email! I interviewed for CTICU (one of the first interviewees), got the reference email, then a call asking me to come in for finger printing, and finally a call offering me the job. Hope this was helpful :)

Congrats to all who have gotten hired!
I started at UCLA 2 years ago as a new grad on the Acute Pediatrics floor. I know how hard it can be finding a new place in LA, especially of you are from out of town. My roommate Ally and I are both 24 year old females and she is a grad student at UCLA. Rent is $820 plus utilities, which is a great price for the area. Most of my coworkers pay $1200+ for their apartments.
Thanks! Good luck to all you new nurses!
