Hey guys! I'm starting this thread for the Summer 2025 Cohort at UCLA. Hopefully we can update each other on application processes, interviews, and job offers!

I interviewed as for 6ICU today! I think it went well but there was one question I got tripped up on. I would say memorize a case you had from clinical and what happened. For example if the patient declined all of the sudden what did you do and how did you resolve it. I didn't have a specific patient scenario so it was a little hard for me.

Yes think it was standard post interview. The wait is going to kill me but applying other places too.

SAME. my interview went so well and I felt like I did the best I could. That job is ours!!

Did they ask questions like "why ucla" and stuff like that. How did you guys prepare for the interview?

To whoever had their interviews.. what type of questions did they mostly ask? Did they ask any clinical style questions?

From what I've heard, every unit asks different questions. Some ask just behavioral but others will ask scenario questions as well. The unit I interviewed with asked me 3 scenario questions, so I would be prepared just in case.

Make sure you have an answer for "Why UCLA?", "Why this unit?", and something goal related like "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?". Do your research. Look up the unit you applied for on their website, they have a list of each unit and info about what the unit specializes in.
