UCLA New Grad RN Fall 2021

Hi,

Is anyone else interviewing for a new grad RN position at UCLA? I have an interview scheduled in a couple of weeks for the ICU and I haven’t seen many people talking about their new grad program so I thought I’d start a thread ?

Does anyone know when the program starts? I've looked everywhere and I can't find a date. I'm planning to ask during the interview, but it would be super helpful to find out beforehand.

Does anyone know if there is a second round of interviews or if job offers are given after the first interview?

I saw something about initial interviews being conducted in September and that combined with the November start date makes me feel like there will be multiple rounds. However I think for the January 2021 cohort they only did a single round of interviews and it seemed like the turn around time was super quick between interviews and offers being sent

did any external candidates receive an offer from adult ICUs so far?

The last time my Med/surg adults/peds app was updated was August 18th. They start interviews in November, so probably won’t hear until end of September or beginning of November I’m thinking?

I got the email a little over a week ago! Waiting is so hard, I feel ya. I wish programs would just have a set date/timeline for everyone ?
