UCLA New Grad Residency Winter 2021

Hello everyone!☺️

UCLA opened their New Grad applications for the January/February 2021 cohort a few days ago. I opened this thread so we can keep each other updated. I submitted an application recently and wanted to see if anyone has been contacted yet! Who else applied? ?‍♀️Zoom Interviews start the week of Dec 14. It seems like they are going to be making decisions quick?

I was looking up the info for this residency but saw that it said it would be delayed due to covid. How did you all find the info about it?

I was hired early 2019. I’ve completed my residency. I just frequent this page for a friend that applied and interviewed this week!

Oh awesome! How did you like the residency? Are you now working on the unit that you completed your residency on?

I appreciate the info. I just graduated and will be applying for different new grad programs soon.

Hello, no I haven’t but my status was updated 12/17 and still says in review ....

Got a call with a job offer earlier today at 4 ?. Based on my cornerstone,  the application status of the New Grad Job says “completed”. So if it’s still in review ya’ll could still be in the running. The interviewers told me that we should hear back within the next few days/next week. So Don’t give up ??

Were you able to access your offer letter? (if yes, how? xD)

Yup! Make sure you’re on the Internal Job posting Tab. And on your list, there should be a pending “New Grad Position” where you should be able to click and accept the offer. Hope this helps. 
 

Also, I made a facebook group “UCLA New Grad RN - January 2021” ☺️
 

Hopefully we could assuage some of our concerns or better answer our questions  through that platform.
