Hello everyone!☺️
UCLA opened their New Grad applications for the January/February 2021 cohort a few days ago. I opened this thread so we can keep each other updated. I submitted an application recently and wanted to see if anyone has been contacted yet! Who else applied? ?♀️Zoom Interviews start the week of Dec 14. It seems like they are going to be making decisions quick?
Good luck everyone!☺️☺️
Does anyone know the password to access the forms on the nurse residency site? I would love to see what the program is like ! https://www.uclahealth.org/nursing/body.cfm?id=798
hi ! can anyone offer some advice on how to be a competitive candidate and honestly, how to even apply? every time I look on their website, it does not offer any dates or application process. I graduate in the Spring from Hopkins MSN program (coming up very soon) and am hoping to apply but do not know where to start. thanks in advance!

UCLA is never transparent about their timelines- you have to watch their website like a hawk. Since March 2020 and they have only had one opening, for COVID support, earlier this year. UCLA (and most CA hospitals) typically only extend offers to people who are already graduated and licensed. If you graduate in May I would start paying attention to websites closer to March. But you should be prepared for a long and challenging process- potentially not starting a job until late 2021 (if you can even make CA work). CA is incredibly competitive (less than 10% of applicants are hired), due to the saturation of nursing students in CA and who went to school in other states and want to return. Honestly if you could work somewhere else for a year or two, you'll be much more competitive as an experienced RN.

Hi there!
I haven't been accepted to the facebook group yet but has anyone heard anything since accepting their offer? I accepted a position on the 22nd and it's been nothing but radio silence. I've also emailed HR a few times to check-in as well. I'm from norcal and want to start looking for an apartment but don't want to sign any leases until everything is set in stone.
