There's no exact start date )-: They just said the residency starts in September!

Are any of you worried about your resumes not making it through the AI check? It's been brought up to me a couple of times by my advisors/professors that hospitals receive too many applications and use AI to weed out applicants. I'm wondering if my application wasn't forwarded to hiring managers because of that reason. I know it's still early though.

I think it's way too early. I know someone who was interviewed and accepted last year who told me they weren't reached out to interview until May.

I applied to Medical Surgical-Telemetry and NICU. Is anyone applying to UCLAs new grad program for the 2nd time? If so, any insight to share that hasn't already been discussed in this thread?

This is my second time applying. I submitted the app before I got hired with USC 🙂. I'm internal, and I know this is one of their bigger cohorts compared to the last one bc of the amount of people graduating for smsu, ucla itself, csula, etc.

@ShootingForTheStars Congratulations on getting hired at USC! 🙂 I saw USC has a cohort starting in April. Is that the cohort you're joining?

Also, what do you mean by bigger cohorts? Like they are going to hiring more New Grad's than usual? I was kind of thinking they might because they highlighted the OR in the info session, and mentioned the extension of the OR department.

I got an email this morning saying that my application to sent to the hiring manager. my status also changed from "submitted" to "in review." good luck everyone!
