UCLA MECN Fall 2020

Hello All!

I'm applying to UCLA's MECN program this year for Fall 2020. Who else is applying? I hope we can all support each other through this process. ?

What are some of the questions you may have about the application process?

Oh, that means I'm #4 now (was originally #7)! I'm so nervous now!

Things are finally moving along! Did you happen to get an email? I’m assuming since you and imena are closer to the top than I am, that I would’ve been bumped 3 spots too?! ? but I haven’t received any updates, so that’s weird. The last email I got was mark thanking me for responding so quickly to the waitlist email ? Maybe I should email him for updates?

I’m going just based off @imena and their posting. I sent him an email at 5 PM but he probably won’t contact me until tomorrow. I would go ahead and email him for your own personal update. He doesn’t seem like the person to really send an email until he needs to (I.e., if a spot is open and you’re next on the waitlist)

I'm officially number 4. I emailed Mark and he replied yesterday in the morning.

Has anyone gotten off the waitlist yet?

Hi!

On the email I got from Mark today, it said that I had until March 9th to notify Jeimy whether or not I intend to enroll. I think the waitlist will start to move along every week now ? If you are on the waitlist and still have not been notified on your position, I would suggest to reach out to Mark in an email kindly asking for updates. To my knowledge quite a few people get admitted off the waitlist, just need to wait it out!
