UCLA MECN Fall 2014?

Hi- Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program for next fall?

Finally got an email with the link to my rejection letter haha. At least I know for sure now! :)). I have been already accepted at another school so at least there's that. :)). The admission process this year for UCLA has been very disappointing though.

WELL, that's that. Also got my rejection letter. At least some closure, finally!!!! HUUUUGE congrats again to everyone who made it, and best of luck in your future endeavors for those accepted, those going elsewhere, and those who will STILL be nurses SOMEDAY sooner than you know it :) Just keep swimming! ;)

After reading all your comments this morning, I too, wrote an email and bcc'd the other to see what kind of response they would each have. (both replies were the same as you all have posted. The one sentence zinger and the standardized apology on "behalf of the Graduate Division") I did this about 45 minutes before the "official" link to the rejection letter was emailed. They were probably getting so many emails that they finally decided to re-send them...or send them for the first time. Who knows?

I agree with what a lot of you are saying-- we will all end up somewhere where we are supposed to be and live the experiences that we're supposed to experience. Maybe I'll see some of you in the future. Until then, back to the grind. Furthermore, glad to be off of this thread finally.

Anyone live in Hollywood and want to meet up for a drink? haha.

I'm a little disappointed here too. I was really hoping to get into UCLA. But finally got the rejection letter.

I guess, the path is different for everybody. Good luck in your path to become nurses!

I wish I was in LA to meet for a drink. Cheers.

I was number 8 and got in 2 days ago. im sure more will find out today or monday. The deadline for accepted is today and the deadline for for waitlisters is April 30th. Hope this helps, what number are you?

Didn't realize there were 70 spots this year, this makes it easier on all of us waitlisters!! ^__^
