UCLA MECN Fall 2014?

Published

Hi- Is anyone applying to UCLA's MECN program for next fall?

Worst birthday week ever :(

*hugs*

i spent my birthday week crying because of a family crisis that occurred. Keep your head up! I know it's easier said than done though because even I feel like giving up right now.

dude it was my birthday too. on monday. i really agree with that other poster we need to get drinks haha

Well, the good news for me is that I was accepted by CSUN and CSULA. I chose CSUN's accelerated BSN program as a nice, quick alternative to UCLA's program. I am not too excited to have a second bachelor's degree, but I also like how much faster it will be to just start working.

I wish that I applied there but they told me I had no chance :(

Did anyone that got accepted to CSUN have to do an interview? I was under the impression that they didn't conduct interviews but I got a call from -------------- wanting to schedule one.....(btw it didn't happen because I told her that I found out I'm pregnant and she said she'd get back to me but I never heard from her again. Grrrrrr.)

I AGREE. I feel like I know all of you! hahaha

FYI i just got my email, I'm 68 on the waitlist. BUT LIFE GOES ON!

Yes, CSUN did do interviews. It was seriously 10 minutes long hahah.

Wow they are already up to 68?!?!

I also received an email this morning, and #49 on the waitlist. Not sure if that gives me any chance of actually getting in, but i'm planning to start CSUN's program this summer. I'm looking forward to getting done with the RN portion fast :)

Do you know how many people are admitted into CSUN's Accelerated BSN program?

Yes, CSUN did do interviews. It was seriously 10 minutes long hahah.

Was it scary? What kinds of questions did they ask you? I've never done a nursing school interview.

No, it wasn't scary. It was really simple. They asked me why I wanted to be a nurse, or how I came upon nursing, and then a few scenario questions. For example, how did you handle a recent conflict, etc. Basic interview questions you'd expect from a job interview. It really didn't last long!
